PURPOSE & SCOPE
A shared standard, with programme-specific rules where they matter.
This policy sets out how TrustStack Academy approaches learner conduct, evidence of learning, assessments, certificates and support. It applies across the Academy’s foundation learning, the eight career tracks and other study programmes, with the Computer Fundamentals requirements below clearly separated from general Academy principles.
It is an educational policy page, not an accreditation claim, a legal notice or a promise that every external service behaves in the same way. Read it with the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Accessibility Statement.
ACADEMY PRINCIPLES
The habits behind every pathway.
Practice before performance
Guided action, practical work and reflection matter alongside explanations. Programmes should make the expected evidence visible.
Clarity over theatre
Assessment rules, credential status and learner records should be understandable without implying claims the Academy has not made.
Access with dignity
Accessible routes and support belong in the learning experience. Barriers can be raised through the support channels below.
Responsible security
Security knowledge is for authorised, ethical practice. Curiosity is welcome; unauthorised access is not.
Foundation, then eight career tracks.
General principles apply across the beginner Foundation and the eight role-based tracks. A programme page or learner workspace may add its own practical instructions.
Explore the pathwaysLEARNER CONDUCT
Build a learning community worth trusting.
Learners are expected to protect the learning environment, the systems used for practice and the accuracy of their own records.
Work with integrity
Submit your own work, cite or acknowledge useful sources, and keep assessment answers independent. Collaboration belongs in spaces where it is invited; a final assessment is individual work.
Use labs responsibly
Use Academy labs and security material only for authorised education. Do not attack, disrupt, scan or access systems without the owner’s permission, or expose protected lab material.
Make room for others
Participate in discussions respectfully, keep feedback specific and constructive, and avoid harassment, discrimination or conduct that makes learning less safe for someone else.
Communicate clearly
Keep account and enrolment information accurate, raise access or assessment concerns through the support route, and help the Academy understand the record or barrier in question.
No new disciplinary process is enacted here.
This page does not create automatic expulsion, legal penalties or retroactive sanctions. If the Academy adopts a more detailed conduct or disciplinary process, it must be approved and published separately as a clearly identified version.
ASSESSMENT RULES
Evidence should match the learning claim.
- Learning evidence
- Completion means more than opening a page. Where a programme specifies a quiz, practical activity or submission, the relevant evidence is recorded against the learner record.
- Independent work
- Assessments must be answered by the enrolled learner. Follow the instructions shown in the assessment experience and do not share questions, answer keys or protected assessment material.
- Accessible support
- If a disability, access barrier or technical incident affects an assessment, contact support so the issue can be recorded and an appropriate route can be considered.
- What this policy does not add
- This page does not create a minimum study-hour rule, guarantee verified identity, promise automatic fraud detection or treat page views alone as proof of learning.
Use assistance as instructed.
Where an assessment asks for independent work, learners should answer without outside help that changes the evidence of what they can do. Programme instructions control for the specific activity.
Corrections should be traceable.
If a learner record appears wrong or incomplete, contact support with the relevant details. Do not create duplicate accounts to work around a record issue.
COMPUTER FUNDAMENTALS · PROGRAMME-SPECIFIC
A measured route from 14 modules to a final assessment.
Computer Fundamentals for Cybersecurity is a self-paced programme. An eligible learner keeps access available while completing the required learning and assessment steps; the final assessment timer begins only when the learner selects Start.
Active account
Keep an active Computer Fundamentals learner account and use the programme workspace assigned to you.
14 modules
Complete all 14 modules with recorded module scores of at least 70% and the required practical work.
Retained capstone
Submit and retain the required capstone response as part of the learner record, not merely as a page visit.
Approved origin review
Certificate eligibility also requires the programme’s approved origin review to be complete.
Self-paced means self-directed, not evidence-free. The programme does not add a minimum study-hours rule. Eligibility is based on the recorded requirements above.
COMPUTER FUNDAMENTALS · FINAL ASSESSMENT
A fixed structure, server-graded and independently attempted.
What the rules record
- The question bank and answer options are randomised per attempt.
- The server enforces the 40-minute deadline, including an expired attempt.
- Final answers are graded on the server and the final record is immutable after finalisation.
- An unsuccessful or expired attempt creates a 24-hour retry cooldown; a passing attempt does not.
What independent work means
- Brainbox is hidden during the exam and the learner is expected to work independently.
- The Academy does not use webcam proctoring for this assessment.
- No page should claim that all external AI assistance or every outside source can be prevented.
Technical incidents and access needs have a record.
Support requests, administrator resets, approved time accommodations and appeals are recorded through audited routes. A reset or accommodation is not an informal score change; it is a documented intervention against the relevant attempt.
Contact supportCERTIFICATES & LEARNER RECORDS
A credential follows the evidence.
Meet the programme’s learning and practical requirements.
Record a passing Computer Fundamentals final assessment where it applies.
Confirm eligibility and approved origin review before issuance.
Use the Academy’s public verification route and QR record.
For Computer Fundamentals, certificate issuance requires both a passing final assessment and the underlying eligibility checks. The server issues the credential only when the required evidence is present. QR verification points to the Academy’s verification record; it is not a claim of government or university accreditation.
Printed certificates remain a bounded award.
The printed scholarship certificates are reserved for the first 100 qualifying learners in server-recorded order. Eligibility remains provisional while duplicate applications or records are reviewed; the cap remains 100. No ceremony date is disclosed here.
Read the scholarship programmeExisting records. A new policy version does not retrospectively invalidate certificates already issued. Questions about a specific certificate should use the verification route or contact support.
SUPPORT, CORRECTION & APPEALS
Raise a concern with enough context to review it.
Learning or access support
For accessibility needs, technical incidents, assessment support or a request for an alternative route, use the Contact page or email [email protected].
Record correction
Explain which learner, progress, assessment or certificate detail appears incorrect and include the account email or record reference needed to locate it. See the Privacy Policy for information rights.
Assessment appeal
Appeals are reviewed against the recorded attempt, applicable programme rules and any documented support or incident history. This policy sets no artificial appeal deadline or guaranteed outcome.
